Schlezinger Ignác

Ignác s-a născut în anul 1894 în Baia Mare (comitat Sătmar, Imperiul Austro-Ungar atunci). A fost băiatul lui Márton și Roza. A locuit pe strada Valea Roșie și a fost necăsătorit. A fost un sticlar apreciat în oraș. În mai 1944 autoritățile maghiare și germane l-au deportat și pe el. A ajuns în Auschwitz unde a fost ucis la scurt timp după sosire. Portretul lui Ignác este parte a expoziției Vecinii mei, evreii.

Ignác 1894-ben született Nagybányán (Szatmár vármegye, Osztrák-Magyar monarchia akkor). Márton és Roza fia volt. A Veresviz utcában lakott és nőtlen volt. Elismert üveges volt. 1944 májusában a magyar és a német hatóságok őt is deportálták. Auschwitzban kötött ki, ahol nem sokkal érkezése után megölték. Ignác portréja a Szomszédaim, a zsidók című kiállítás része.

Ignác was born in 1894 in Baia Mare (Sătmar county, Austro-Hungarian monarchy then). He was the son of Márton and Roza. He lived on Valea Roșie street and was unmarried. He was a well-respected glazier in town. In May 1944 the Hungarian and German authorities deported him as well. He ended up in Auschwitz where he was killed shortly after arriving. Ignác’s portrait is part of the exhibition My Neighbors, the Jews.
