Holder József, poetul idiș al Maramureșului

🇷🇴 Holder József s-a născut în 11 ianuarie 1893 în Bocicoiu Mare, comitatul Maramureș. Este unul dintre cei mai apreciați poeți ai comunității evreiești din Maramureș.
Este considerat unul dintre cei mai importanți poeți de limbă idiș din imperiul Austro-Ungar. Poeziile și articolele sale au apărut în ziare evreiești de pe întreg mapamondul: Zukunft(New York), Vorwarts(New York), Judische Zeitung (Sighet), Hamicpa (Varșovia), Haolom (Londra).
Moare în 6 ianuarie 1945 în beciul unei case în care se ascundea de Partidul Săgeților.

Az Osztrák-Magyar Birodalom egyik legfontosabb jiddis nyelvű költője ként tartják számon. Versei és cikkei megjelentek a világ zsidó újságjaiban: Zukunft (New York), Vorwarts (New York), Judische Zeitung (Seges), Hamicpa (Varsó), Haolom (London).
1945. január 6-án halt meg egy ház pincéjében, ahol a Nyílas Párt elől bujkált

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Holder József was born on the 11th of January 1893 in Bocicoiu Mare, Maramures county. He is one of the most appreciated poets of the Jewish community in Maramures.
He was considered one of the most important Yiddish language poets in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. His poems and articles were published in Jewish newspapers across the world: Zukunft (New York), Vorwarts (New York), Judische Zeitung (Sighet), Hamicpa (Warsaw), Haolom (London).
He died on the 6th of January 1945 in the basement of a house in which he was hiding from the Arrow Cross Party.
