Wiesel Roszi

Wiesel Roszi a locuit în Baia Mare. În primăvara anului 1944 a fost forțată să trăiască în tabăra de pe Valea Borcutului, alături de alți 3.000 de evrei băimăreni. La finalul lunii mai 1944 a fost deportată în lagărul de exterminare Auschwitz-Birkenau. A reușit să supraviețuiască aici timp de trei luni, iar următoarele nouă luni a muncit până la epuizare la o fabrică de componente pentru avioane lângă Hamburg. A fost eliberată de armata americană în anul 1945. După război s-a întors în Baia Mare unde s-a căsătorit.

Wiesel Roszi Nagybányán élt. 1944 tavaszán a borkúti táborba kényszerítették 3000 nagybányai zsidóval együtt. 1944 májusának végén az auschwitz-birkenaui megsemmisítő táborba deportálták. Három hónapig sikerült itt túlélnie, a következő kilenc hónapban pedig egy Hamburg melletti repülőgép-alkatrészgyárban dolgozott kimerülésig. 1945-ben szabaditotta fel az amerikai hadsereg. A háború után visszatért Nagybányára, ahol férjhez ment.

Wiesel Roszi lived in Baia Mare(Maramureș county, Romania). In the spring of 1944, she was forced to live in the camp on Valea Borcutului, together with 3.000 other Jews from Baia Mare. At the end of May 1944 she was deported to the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp. She managed to survive here for three months, and for the next nine months she worked himself to exhaustion at an aircraft parts factory near Hamburg. She was eliberated by the USA army in 1945. After the war she returned to Baia Mare where she got married.
