Fiecare nume din trecutul comunității evreiești din zona noastră reprezintă o viață, o familie și o poveste care merită readusă la lumină. Printre aceste figuri ale trecutului se numără și Felberbaum Ella.

Născută Wasserblatt în satul Cicârlău, Felberbaum Ella a purtat cu sine identitatea și valorile comunității. În anul 1944, perioada cea mai întunecată a Holocaustului din Europa Centrală, Ella se afla la Budapesta. În ciuda distanței față de satul natal, tragedia nu a ocolit-o. În acel an de răscruce, a fost deportată de autoritățile maghiare din capitala maghiară.

Urmele Ellei Felberbaum se pierd în vâltoarea războiului, iar soarta sa exactă rămâne, până astăzi, necunoscută.

A területről származó zsidó közösség múltjából minden egyes név egy-egy életet, családot és olyan történetet képvisel, amely megérdemli, hogy felszínre hozzuk. E múltbéli alakok közé tartozik Felberbaum Ella is.

A Sikárló (Cicârlău) faluban, Wasserblatt néven született Felberbaum Ella magával hordozta a közösség identitását és értékeit. 1944-ben, Közép-Európa holokausztjának legsötétebb időszakában Ella Budapesten tartózkodott. A szülőfalujától való távolság ellenére a tragédia őt sem kerülte el. Abban a sorsfordító évben a magyar hatóságok deportálták a magyar fővárosból.

Felberbaum Ella nyomai elvesznek a háború forgatagában, pontos sorsa mindmáig ismeretlen.

Every name from the past of our region’s Jewish community represents a life, a family, and a story that deserves to be brought back to light. Among these figures of the past is Felberbaum Ella.

Born Wasserblatt in the village of Cicârlău, Felberbaum Ella carried with her the identity and values of the community. In 1944, during the darkest period of the Holocaust in Central Europe, Ella was in Budapest. Despite the distance from her native village, tragedy did not bypass her. In that pivotal year, she was deported from the Hungarian capital by the Hungarian authorities.

Ella Felberbaum’s traces are lost in the turmoil of the war, and her exact fate remains unknown to this day.
