Stefania Hecht, șomcuteanca supraviețuitoare a Holocaustului

🇷🇴 Stefania Hecht s-a născut în 1928 la Șomcuta Mare, județul Satu Mare (azi județul Maramureș), România.
Mama ei a murit când ea avea cinci ani, iar tatăl ei a murit când ea avea zece ani.
Când avea 16 ani, după ce a fost în două ghetouri, a coborât din tren la Auschwitz alături de mătușa, fratele și sora ei.
I-a auzit pe naziști țipând și s-a întrebat de ce evreii de acolo s-au ras pe cap. Ea nu a apucat să-și ia rămas bun de la rude, deoarece a fost împinsă în altă parte și nici măcar nu a putut să se uite înapoi pentru a le vedea.
Ea se afla în baraca nr. 20 și era printre cele 900 de femei care trebuiau să doarmă pe podea. Pentru mâncare, primeau o bucată de pâine, niște apă cu bucăți mici de cartofi în ea și iarbă.
Trei dintre frații ei au fost uciși în timpul Holocaustului.
Ea a supraviețuit.

🇭🇺 Hecht Stefánia 1928-ban született Romániában, a Szatmár megyei Nagysomkúton (ma Máramaros megye).
Nagyon fiatalon elvesztette édesanyját és édesapját.
16 évesen, miután két gettóban már eltöltőtt pár hetet, leszállt a vonatról Auschwitzban a nagynénjével,bátyjával és a húgával.
Hallotta a nácik kiabálását és azon tűnődött, hogy miért borotváltak a zsidók ott. Nem tudott elbúcsúzni hozzátartozóitól, mivel más sorba került és még csak hátra sem tudott nézni, hogy lássa őket.
A 20-as laktanyában azon 900 nő között volt, akiknek a földön kellett aludniuk. Élelmiszerként kaptak egy darab kenyeret, egy kis vizet, benne apró burgonyadarabokat és füvet.
Három testvért meggyilkolták a Holokausztban.
Ő túlélte.

When she was 16, after being in two ghettos, she got off the train at Auschwitz with her aunt, her brother, and her sister.
She heard the Nazis yell and wondered why the Jews there had shaved heads. She did not get to say goodbye to her relatives, as she was pushed away and couldn’t even look back to see them.
She was in Barrack No. 20 and was among 900 women who had to sleep on the floor. For food, they would get a piece of bread, some water with tiny pieces of potato in it, and grass.
Three of here siblings where murdered during the Holocaust.
She survived.
