🇷🇴 Conform recensământului din 1910 comitatul Maramureș avea o populație de 357.705 persoane ( locul 15 între cele 63 de comitate, locul 61 în ceea ce privește denistatea populației): 159.489 ruteni, 84.510 români, 59.553 germani, 52.964 maghiari, 503 slovaci, 41 croați, 6 sârbi, 640 alte naționalități ( 86.140 de persoane vorbeau limba maghiară).
Conform confesiunii religioase comitatul arată astfel: 254.215 greco catolici, 65.694 iudaici, 26.204 romano-catolici, 9646 reformați, 464 evanghelici, 1437 ortodocși, 42 unitarieni, 3 cu alte religii.
Au emigrat 11.980 de cetățeni, au imigrat 2429 de cetățeni.
