Lebi Zoltán

Lebi Zoltán s-a născut în anul 1918 în Seini, atunci în comitatul Sătmar. De meserie sticlar, acesta a locuit în Baia Mare pe strada Hajnal. Conform informațiilor disponibile acesta a trăit singur, iar în anul 1944 a fost deportat din oraș și a ajuns în lagărul din Dachau. La finalul lunii aprilie 1945 naziștii au obligat prizionerii lagărului într-un marș al morții. Zoltán a supraviețuit și a emigrat în Canada.

Lebi Zoltán 1918-ban született Szinérváralján, akkor Szatmár vármegye része. Üveges volt és Nagybányán a Hajnal utcában lakott. A rendelkezésre álló információk szerint egyedül élt. 1944-ben deportálták a városból és a dachaui táborba került. Sajnos nem tudjuk mi történt vele a háború után. 1945 áprilisá végén a nácik halálmenetre kényszerítették a tábor foglyait. Zoltán túlélte a háborút és Kanadába emigrált.

Lebi Zoltán was born in 1918 in Seini, then in Sătmar county(then Hungary). A glazier, he lived in Baia Mare (now Romania) on Hajnal Street. According to available information, he lived alone and in 1944 he was deported from the city and ended up in the Dachau camp. Unfortunately we have no information about him after the end of the war. He was forced on a death march at some point at the end of April 1945. Zoltán survived and after the war he emigrated to Canada.
