Hedi Fried, psiholog și scriitoare evreică, supraviețuitor al Holocaustului a fost numită cetățean de onoare al municipiului Sighetu Marmației! S-a născut la Sighet pe 15 Iunie 1924, de unde a fost deportată în 1944 în lagărul de la Auschwitz împreuna cu familia și alți evrei din oraș. În 1945 a fost eliberată și apoi s-a stabilit in Suedia, unde trăiește și acum la vârsta de 97 de ani. Titlul de cetățean de onoare i-a fost acordat azi, 31 August in cadrul ședinței ordinare a Consiliului Local Sighetu Marmației.
Hedi Fried, zsidó pszichológus és író, a holokauszt túlélőjét Máramarossziget díszpolgárává nevezték ki!1924. június 15-én született Máramarosszigeten, ahonnan 1944-ben családjával és a város többi zsidójával deportálták az auschwitzi táborba.1945-ben szabadult, majd Svédországban telepedett le, ahol ma is él.A díszpolgári címet ma, augusztus 31-én adták át a máramarosszigeti Helyi Tanács ülésén.
Hedi Fried, a Jewish psychologist and writer, a Holocaust survivor, has been named an honorary citizen of Sighetu Marmatiei!She was born in Sighet on June 15, 1924, from where she was deported in 1944 to the Auschwitz camp with her family and other Jews in the city.She was released in 1945 and then settled in Sweden, where she still lives at the age of 97.The title of honorary citizen was granted today, August 31, during the ordinary meeting of the Sighetu Marmației Local Council.
