Lazarovits Sándor

Sándor a fost unul dintre copiii comerciantului Lazarovits Mózes. Tatăl acestuia a fost unul dintre cei mai iscusiți comercianți din Baia Mare. Vindea cam orice și importa multă marfă pentru a avea cel mai bun preț. Copiii au fost angrenați în mișcarea sionistă. Întreaga familie a fost deportată în anul 1944 în lagărul de exterminare Auschwitz-Birkenau. Au supraviețuit dor copiii: Sándor, Bandi și Lili. După eliberare aceștia au făcut aliya. Sándor a fost un patiser iscusit și unul dintre membrii marcanți ai comunității evreilor băimăreni din Israel.

Sándor Lazarovits Mózes kereskedő egyik gyermeke volt. Apja Nagybánya egyik legsikeresebb kereskedője volt. Szinte bármit eladot, és sok árut importált, hogy a legjobb árai legyenek. A gyerekek részt vettek a cionista mozgalomban. Az egész családot 1944-ben deportálták az auschwitz-birkenaui megsemmisítő táborba. Csak a gyerekek élték tól: Sándor, Bandi és Lili. A szabadulás után aliáztak. Sándor szakképzett cukrász volt, az izraeli nagybányai zsidó közösségének egyik kiemelkedő tagja volt.

Sándor was one of the children of the merchant Lazarovits Mózes. His father was one of the most skilled merchants in Baia Mare(Maramureș county, Romania) . He sold just about anything and imported a lot of merchandise to get the best price. The children were engaged in the Zionist movement. The whole family was deported in 1944 to the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp. The only survivors of the family were the children: Sándor, Bandi and Lili. After release they made aliya. Sándor was a skilled pastry chef and one of the prominent members of the Jewish community of Baia Mare in Israel.
