Geller Fani

Geller Fani s-a născut în Baia Mare, în anul 1927. Numele ei de fată a fost Davidovits. În aprilie 1944, jandarmeria maghiară (aflată sub ocupație nazistă) a obligat-o să stea câteva săptămâni bune în tabăra de pe Valea Borcutului. La finalul lunii mai a fost deportată în lagărul din Auschwitz-Birkenau unde a fost ucisă de naziști.

Geller Fani 1927-ben született Nagybányán. Leánykori neve Davidovits Fanni volt. 1944 áprilisában a magyar csendőrség (akkor náci megszállás alatt) arra kényszerítette, hogy több hetet töltsön a borkúti táborban. Május végén az auschwitz-birkenaui táborba deportálták, ahol a nácik meggyilkoták.

Geller Fani was born in 1927 in Baia Mare (Maramureș county, Romania today). Her maiden name was Davidovits. In April 1944, the Hungarian gendarmerie (then under Nazi occupation) forced her to spend several weeks in the camp at Valea Borcutului. At the end of May she was deported to the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp where she was murdered by the Nazis.
