🇷🇴 Comunitatea evreiască din Mireșu Mare

În satul Mireșu Mare populația evreiască cea mai numeroasă a fost înreigstrată în anul 1880 când numărul evreilor era de 131 de suflete. În anul 1941 trăiau aici 77 de evrei.

În satul Lucăcești trăia o singură familie de evrei, mai exact Ruven Zeev și Lea Grun, împreună cu copii lor. În casa lor era amenajată o sală de rugăciune unde veneau familiile din satele învecinate ca să alcătuiască minianul.

În satul Dăneștii Chioarului au locuit 12, Remeți pe Someș 10, Tulghieș 5, iar în Iadăra trăiau 14 evrei.

Majoritate evreilor erau fermieri sau mici comercianți. Aceștia s-au bucurat de respectul consătenilor.

Din păcate în luna mai a anului 1944, autoritățile fasciste maghiare și militari germani au strâns evreii din satele comunei și i-au dus în ghetoul de pe Valea Borcutului din Baia Mare.

Aceștia au fost deportați în iunie, iar trenurile au ajuns în Auschwitz. Majoritatea au fost uciși la scurt timp după ce au ajuns aici.

Azi în comuna Mireșu Mare nu mai trăiesc evrei, dar există cimitire evreiești care necesită atenția noastră pentru a le conserva memoria.

🇭🇺 A Nagynyiresi zsidó közösség

Nagynyiresen a legtöbb zsidót 1880-ban jegyezték fel, akkor a számuk 131 volt. 1941-ben már csak 77 zsidó élt itt.

Szamoslukácsi faluban egyetlen zsidó család élt – Ruven Zeen és Lea Grun, valamint gyermekeik. Házukban imát is szerveztek, ahol a környező falvakban élők családjai gyűltek össze.

Dánfalván 12, Gyökeresen 10, Szamostölgyesen 5, Jedern 14 zsidó élt. A zsidó közösség nagy része földműves vagy kiskereskedő volt. Élvezték a falubeliek tiszteletét.

Sajnos 1944 májusában a fasiszta magyar hatóságok és a német katonák a környező falvakból összegyűjtötték a zsidókat és a Borkúti gettóba küldték őket. Júniusban deportálták őket, és a vonatok megérkeztek Auschwitzba. Túlnyomó többségüket azonnal megölték amint megérkeztek.

Ma már nem maradtak zsidók Nagynyiresen, de zsidó temető azonban még mindig létezik, megőrzésükhöz szükségük van a mi támogatásunkra.

In Mireșu Mare, the largest number of Jews was recorded back in 1880, when their number was 131. In 1941, only 77 Jews were living here.

In the Lucăcești village, only one Jewish family was living – Ruven Zeen and Lea Grun, and their children. In their house, a housing prayer was also organised, where the families of those living in the surrounding villages came together to organise a miniam.

The village of Dăneștii Chiorului had 12 Jews, Remeți pe Someș 10, Tulgheș 5, and in Iadăra 14. Most of the Jewish community were farmers or small traders. They enjoyed the respect of their fellow villagers.

Unfortunately, in the month of May 1944, the fascist Hungarian authorities and the German soldiers gathered the Jews from the surrounding villages and sent them to the Valea Borcutului ghetto. They were deported in June, and the trains arrived in Auschwitz. The vast majority of them were killed as soon as they got there.

Today, no Jews remain in Mireșu Mare; however, a Jewish cemetery still exists, and they need our support in order to preserve them.
