🇷🇴 În anul 1869 în satul Benesat locuiau 41 de evrei. S-au păstrat câteva nume care a evreilor din localitate: Mozes Samuel, familia Klein, cărăușul Szimcha Nemes, David Lampel.
În centrul satului birtul și magazinul universal era în proprietatea lui David Lampel. Fiecare evreu care avea drum prin Benesat, se oprea la casa acestuia.
În Biușa populația evreiască era de 44 de suflete în 1880, dar în anul 1930 mai trăiau doar cinci evrei în sat. Sandor Katz trăia în Biușa, acesta era notar de circumscripție.
Cei mai mulți evrei în satul Aluniș au fost în număr de 46 în anul 1890. În sat locuiau familiile agricultorilor Hersch Markowits și Samu Klein.
Evreii din satele Benesat, Biușa și Aluniș au fost deportați în ghetoul din Cehei. În lunile mai-iunie aceștia au fost deportați în Auschwtiz unde se presupune că au fost uciși cu toții.
Azi în comuna Benesat nu mai trăiesc evrei. Mai sunt vizibile câteva pietre funerare evreiești în cimitirile din satele comunei.

🇭🇺 1869-ben 41 zsidó élt Benedekfalván. A faluban élõ zsidók néhány nevét megőrizték az utókornak: Mózes Sámuel, a Klein család, Nemes Szimcha szállító, Lampel Dávid.
A falu központjában egy kocsma és egy üzlet volt, mindkettő Lampel Dávid birtokában. Minden zsidó, akinek útja volt Benedekfalván, megszállt itt.
Bősházán 1880-ban 44 zsidó élt, míg 1930-ban már csak 5 zsidó volt a faluban. Katz Sándor Bősházán élt, hires közjegyző volt.
1890-ben 46 zsidó élt Széplakon. A faluban laktak Hersch Markowitz és Samu Klein földművesek és családjaik.
A benedekfalvi, bősházi és széplaki zsidókat mind a Somlyócsehi gettóba deportálták. Májusban és júniusban Auschwitzba küldték, ahol feltételezhető, hogy mindannyiukat megölték.
Manapság Benedekfalván nem élnek zsidók. A falu temetőiben csak néhány sírkő beszél arról, hogy itt valaha zsidók is éltek.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 In 1869, 41 Jews were living in Benesat. A few names of the Jews that were living in the village have been kept: Mozes Samuel, the Klein family, Szimcha Nemes the carrier, David Lampel.
In the village’s downtown, a bar and a universal shop were located, both in the property of David Lampel. Each Jew who had business around Benesat would stop at his house.
In Biușa, the Jewish population had 44 people in 1880, whilst in 1930 only 5 were still living there. Sandor Katz lived in Biușa, and he was circumscription notary.
46 was the largest number to ever call Aluniș home and this happened around 1890. The agricultural families of Hersch Markowitz and Samu Klein were living in the village.
The Jews from Benesat, Biușa, and Aluniș, were all deported to the Cehei ghetto. In the months of May and June, all of them were sent to Auschwitz, where it is assumed that all of them were killed.
Nowadays, the commune of Benesat has no Jews living in its borders. Only a few gravestones can be found in the village’s cemeteries.
