Feldheim Malka

Feldheim Malka a fost soția devotată a lui Yehuda-Leib (Lajos) Feldheim, un respectat comerciant. Împreună, au construit un cămin insuflat de valorile tradiției și ale muncii, crescându-și copiii cu speranța unui viitor liniștit. Din nefericire, acest parcurs a fost brutal întrerupt în primăvara anului 1944.

Destinul familiei Feldheim a luat o întorsătură tragică. Sub autoritatea jandarmeriei maghiare, au fost smulși din propria casă și înghesuiți în condiții inumane în trenurile morții. În luna mai a aceluiași an, au ajuns la Auschwitz, unde majoritatea membrilor familiei, inclusiv Malka, soțul ei Yehuda-Leib și fiica lor Erzsébet, au fost uciși de către naziști în camerele de gazare.

Zeev, fiul lor, a reușit să supraviețuiască ororilor Holocaustului. Zece ani mai târziu, din Israel, el avea să așeze pe hârtie numele părinților și al surorii sale în paginile de mărturie de la Yad Vashem, asigurându-se că sacrificiul și existența lor nu vor fi șterse din memoria universală.

Feldheim Malka a köztiszteletben álló kereskedő, Feldheim Yehuda-Leib (Lajos) odaadó felesége volt. Együtt építették fel a munka és a hagyomány értékeire alapozott otthonukat, gyermekeiket egy békés jövő reményében nevelve. Sajnos ezt az utat 1944 tavaszán brutálisan kettétörték.

A Feldheim család sorsa tragikus fordulatot vett. A magyar csendőrség intézkedései nyomán saját otthonukból hurcolták el őket, majd embertelen körülmények között a halálvonatokba kényszerítették a családot. Ugyanazon év májusában érkeztek meg Auschwitzba, ahol a család legtöbb tagját – köztük Malkát, férjét, Yehuda-Leibet és lányukat, Erzsébetet – a nácik gázkamrákban gyilkolták meg.

Fiuk, Zeev, túlélte a holokauszt borzalmait. Tíz évvel később Izraelből, a Jad Vasem emléklapjain örökítette meg szülei és nővére nevét, biztosítva ezzel, hogy áldozatuk és létezésük ne törlődjön ki az egyetemes emlékezetből.

Malka Feldheim was the devoted wife of Yehuda-Leib (Lajos) Feldheim, a respected merchant. Together, they built a home inspired by the values of tradition and hard work, raising their children with the hope of a peaceful future. Unfortunately, this journey was brutally interrupted in the spring of 1944.

The fate of the Feldheim family took a tragic turn. Under the authority of the Hungarian gendarmerie, they were torn from their home and crowded under inhumane conditions into the death trains. In May of that same year, they arrived at Auschwitz, where most of the family members-including Malka, her husband Yehuda-Leib, and their daughter Erzsébet-were murdered by the Nazis in the gas chambers.

Their son, Zeev, managed to survive the horrors of the Holocaust. Ten years later, from Israel, he would set down the names of his parents and sister on the Pages of Testimony at Yad Vashem, ensuring that their sacrifice and existence would never be erased from universal memory.
